So you finally decided to become an exotic dancer

Hey girlfriend. So you finally decided that you are going to be an exotic dancer. There are some things that you will need to know before you start and you have come to the right place. First of all, exotic dancing is not as glamourous as it may seem to some people. It is a very emotionally taxing job and not every guy in the club is going to be nice and treat you with respect no matter how beautiful you are. Can you handle getting rejected over and over again when you ask for dances and still keep a happy face on? If you get easily aggravated or have a bad attitude the men will see it and you wont make anything but ill save that for another post.
Anyways... The first thing you are going to have to do is buy a pair of stilettos. You probably are better off getting clear ones with buckles around the ankle,  They are easier to walk in and they will match everything. Make sure you get stripper shoes and not steve madden heels or people will probably make fun of you no matter how high they are. Make sure you take them on the sidewalk and scuff up the bottoms so you don't slip. They also make little pads that stick on the bottom of your shoes but i find that they peel off. If the plastic on the shoes is too tight you can put a blow dryer on them for a few seconds to warm the plastic so it will stretch when you put them on. Also make sure your toes don't hang off the front because that is so gross looking and guys will be paying attention to your feet
Second, you are going to need a g string and an outfit. There are plenty of stores that sell them online. Make sure you get a stripper G-string made for dancing and not one at Victorias secret because they are cut totally different.
Now that you have practiced dancing at home you are ready to audition. When you go to the club make sure you are shaved, waxed, pedicured, manicured, tanned, have your eyelashes on and your makeup done. You might want to go to a few clubs as a customer to see how the girls dance and how they interact with customers because if you are trying to learn when you work there, and are staring at a girl the whole time she's on stage there might be a problem. (I personally dont get mad, but there are some bitchy girls at strip clubs and look for a reason to push around fresh meat) The house mom or manager will make you audition for a song or two or maybe a whole set usually in front of the whole club. Most clubs I worked at had a 3 song set where the first song you are dressed, second song in your underwear, and third song nude. Every state has different laws so make sure you ask before you go up. Now you are hired.
Most clubs when you work have fees called a house fee that can range from ten to 200 a night depending on the location. Also you may be responsible for tipping out makeup artists, the DJ, the bouncers, house moms managers, valet guys and so on. Make sure you bring enough money with you to cover those costs because everyone has nights where no matter how hard you try, you just cant make any money.
When you work be friendly with the other dancers but dont get to involved with them. Remember you are there to make lots of money and not to socialize and get wasted. Good luck
